"Water is a basic resource, a human right that cannot be monopolized by a few. Canicattì is in a full-blown water emergency; the mayor should issue an ordinance and open the wells. Canicattì is full of water! The Region should appoint commissioners for ATI, AICA, and the non-compliant mayors." These are the demands of some protesters, who also emphasize that water has no political affiliation; the problem concerns everyone, but this morning the demonstration organizers "selected" the participants.
