Château du Rivau

Chateau from the end of the Middle Ages and the beginning of the Renaissance, the Rivau is a real fairytale castle. It is surrounded by 14 gardens classified as remarkable gardens. Many blooms adorn the visit depending on the season - In April: Tulips, orchards, daffodils. In May: Iris, Peonies and Roses. In June: Roses. In July and August: Grasses and Dahlia. In September and October: The vegetable patch and chrysanthemums. Far from the traditional castles, the Rivau is also a place of contemporary art with a permanent outdoor exhibition (25 monumental sculptures) and a temporary exhibition place (inside the castle)
