How to Silk Press on Curly to Straight Hair for Mixed Kids Hair

Avoid heat damage when you silk press or straighten your mixed kids hair! So many of you have asked if I straightened my daughter's curly mixed hair. I decided to film the process of our curly to straight hair routine for kids. Most of you know that my daughter has very curly hair, and my curly mixed hair playlist is dedicated to helping parents of mixed kids learn how to care for their mixed race hair. Please keep in mind this is NOT what I would suggest doing often whatsoever. I only straightened Mya's hair because after five years of hairstyling, brushing, combing, washing, and her baby sister pulling and eating her hair...she had mechanical damage or split ends. Rest assured, I did film a video on how to trim your child's mixed hair, as well. Stating the obvious facts: I am NOT a hairstylist or professionally trained.
