Welcome to The Nerd Out! This week Lyle and Jack talk about the sermon, "The Book of Habakkuk", initially preached by Pastor Jack on 07/12/26. You can watch it here:    • The Book of Habakkuk   Practical Application Choose one of the following: 1. Start a "Watchtower Practice" Identify one practice that helps you position yourself to hear from God (morning prayer, journaling, a weekly Sabbath, a physical place you can go, etc.) Commit to doing it at least 3 times this week 2. Write It Down Like God told Habakkuk to write down the vision, journal your current questions, complaints, or waiting-room situations Write down what you know to be true about God's character, even if you don't feel it right now 3. Practice "Yet" Worship Each day this week, identify something difficult in your life Follow it with "yet I will rejoice in the Lord because..." and list something true about God's character or faithfulness 4. Share Your Story Think of a time when you had to wait on God and He came through (even if differently than expected) Share this story with someone this week to encourage them in their waiting #elementscitychurch #elements #thenerdout
