Hierarchy of Controls: Managing Risk in the Workplace

This video will be a continuation of the "Hazard vs Risk" video, and I will be giving an overview on how risk is managed in the workplace by using the Hierarchy of Controls. We will be discussing each of the levels of the Hierarchy of Controls pyramid, starting from the most effective control - Elimination, to the least effective - Personal Protective Equipment. Each control type have their own unique strengths and weaknesses and it is up to the employer to implement the appropriate control in relation to the work that is being performed. My aim for this channel is to provide everyone with some valuable information in the area of occupational medicine.
