Vickie's first Ride to Balanced Rock, Idaho #harleydavidson ride and Scenic Canyon Loop vid #2436

In this video, we take the 2009 Black Electra Glide out for a scenic motorcycle ride with Vicki, heading toward the iconic Balanced Rock in Idaho. It’s a hot, dusty day, but perfect for getting some much-needed seat time and enjoying the open road. After a steady ride through desert landscapes and winding backroads, we arrive at Balanced Rock—a unique natural formation surrounded by Idaho desert terrain. While the location is impressive, we also notice unfortunate graffiti on the rock, sparking frustration about preserving natural landmarks. From there, the ride continues through rural Idaho roads, including the town of Buhl and the scenic Snake River canyon area. Although some footage of the canyon didn’t come out due to technical issues, the journey still captures the beauty of the region and the joy of being back on the bike. We wrap up the ride reflecting on the importance of staying in riding shape, exploring new places, and continuing to put miles on the motorcycle. More rides, routes, and adventures are coming soon.
