Racing on a 66ft Classic Ketch: ''Desiderata" - Sailing L'Attitude - Ep 51

We get a quick day or two in Tonga after clearing in with our guests Louis and Mercedes. It’s a action packed few days with windsurfing, snorkelling, cave exploring and exploring the natural beauty of Vava’u. We are then left on our own as they continue their travels around the world: Next stop, New Zealand. Over the next few days, with the weather forecast showing strong winds and miserable weather, we decide to hang around the main town of Neiafu for the Blue Water Sailing Festival. We are invited to sail on ‘Desiderata’, a 66' classic ketch, in the festival’s fun race. We had an absolute ball, apologies for abundance of footage!! It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience and we are so glad to be able to share it with you all.
