Ritchies #340 - 2009 MAN 16.240 (Designline/Voith)

340 is rather special because it’s the only one of its kind in the South Island. It came from Timaru and operated under Metro Canterbury. The services up there got ceased by Metro and the buses needed new homes. Timaru now operates an OnDemand Service featuring low floor minibuses/vans. 340 use to operate on a route called TimaruLink which was one of the main bus routes in the city which has now been ceased. 340 is now kept in Dunedin and has been given some urban work.
