France's Chocolate Capital, Bayonne🍫☕️

Come with us to Bayonne, the chocolate capital of France, just over an hour from where we live in the pyrenees atlantique. There are ancient streets to wander down, a medieval fortified château and city walls and ramparts. The cathedral was unfortunately shut for lunch, I love visiting cathedrals so I will definitely be back for a good look around. Hopefully with better weather! Bayonne is the French Basque capital and famous for its gastronomy, particularly ham and chocolate! Chocolate making was brought here in the 17th century by Portuguese Jewish refugees.
