Although music wasn’t the plan, a series of fortunate events led her to a career in music including stints on Broadway, backing Mariah Carey and Elton John, and touring the world as the lead singer of The Mickey Hart Band. She is currently an adjunct professor of music at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts while she puts the finishing touches on her new album, produced by the core team behind John Legend’s Grammy-winning “Love Into the Future."
