The RAM brand became famous for offering large, high-tech, luxurious pickup trucks with powerful engines. Initially a sub-brand of Dodge, it became its own brand a few years ago. Since 2019, it has launched several vehicles in Brazil, all of which have been very successful. Available in three trim levels (Rebel, Laramie, and R/T) and two engine options (2.0-liter gasoline and 2.0-liter diesel), this pickup truck aims to shake up the market—or rather, to cause a stir, as its name suggests (translated from English, of course). The turbo diesel engine is already well-known and powers the Jeep Commander, with 170 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The gasoline engine, called Hurricane 4, is the same as the Jeep Wrangler, with 272 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a 9-speed transmission and 4x4 drivetrain. The Rampage uses the same platform as the Fiat Toro, Jeep Renegade, Compass, and Commander, but with numerous improvements to make it super robust and strong. It features a multi-link independent suspension and rear disc brakes. It also offers a wealth of safety and technology, with seven airbags, full ADAS with ACC, automatic braking, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot warning, automatic headlights, and more. It features giant 10-inch screens in the cluster and 12-inch screens in the multimedia system, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless, an induction charger, and dual-zone climate control.
