Kelly gave it a good workout doing great slow, and 16 point rolls. It flew about as long as the WW II interceptor did for 7.5 minutes attacking U S bombers after rocketing off a grass runway climbing to above 40 thousand feet in less than 5 minutes at almost 600 mph while attacking our bombers on the way up. It then shut the rocket engine off when above 40K, then did another attack run on the glide-back to a grass runway. Now that's "cheap seats" viewed from a whole new level!
