Mechanics: 100% Alternate damage type (Dark / Bug) 85.9% Concert 75.9% Tempo 66.9% Trick room 50.9% Alternate Form - Relic Song 33.9% Trick room Concert Mechanic: At 85,9% Meloetta’s mesmerizing song fills the Stage and invites you in to join the stage. Meloetta needs to be hit with sound-based moves. If the Pokémon successfully uses a sound move Melotta will grant that Pokémon a +1 SpA, +1 SpDef buff. She will not give the boost if a Pokémon of the same species hits her on that same turn (as in, if two Hydreigons hit her on turn 2). If there is more than one Pokémon of the same species on that turn, you will fail to impress Meloetta and have to show a different Pokémon. Until you finish this mechanic, it will lock all players out of attacking until that 1 player finishes the mechanic with a sound move of a Pokémon not used before. Mechanic lasts 2 turns and then finishes if you fail. Tempo Mechanic: At 75.9 Meloetta starts to keep tempo with the speed of the battle. This means from this point on she will adjust her hidden speed buff depending on the field. Base Speed within tempo is +2 (558) and -6 (69) under trickroom. Under tailwind it boosts even further so don’t think about outspeeding the boss. This mechanic stays until the end of the fight. Relic Song: At 50.9% Meloetta casts Relic Song which will do a massive aoe and sleep any pokemon that are still alive. Then it changes its base form to her pirouette form and will do her attacks. The strategy used within this guide is to take advantage of her damage of relic song to clear out the field, while still being able to deal maximum damage. Trick Room: At 33.9% the boss will trigger another Trickroom regardless of the field state. For example if u reversed it that turn and the Boss hit a target with Rocky Helmet it will change it back from normal into a Trick Room.
