Ақтөбеде алаяқтардың арбауына түскен зейнеткер жалғыз пәтерінен айырылды
In Aktobe, a pensioner who fell for the scammers lost his only apartment. Under pressure from criminals, the old man even took out a loan of one million tenge and got into debt. He transferred other people's money to foreign accounts, and without even noticing, he himself became a dropper. Relatives of the 71-year-old man who was left in the field for a day are demanding that the suspects be arrested as soon as possible. My colleague Kamshat Kopaeva learned about the incident. First of all, an unknown person who introduced himself as a representative of the energy company called the man and said that the electricity meter needed to be replaced. He asked for the code from the number 1414. The old man, however, trusts the people he calls and fulfills their orders without fail, according to his grandson. AZAMAT ABDRAKHIMOV, grandson of the victim: Later, egov people called. As before, they say, "Egov Security Service", and then "you were deceived, they are taking out loans in your name from five or six places." So my grandmother went and applied for a loan. She said, "You need to put the money into a secure account through the terminal." Then my grandmother said, "I don't know how to use the terminal." She said, "Then wait a minute, we'll send someone to you." The person who came to the 71-year-old man also turned out to be a victim. He was also of retirement age. Thus, the two of them deposited the one million tenge they had borrowed into the terminal. However, the scammers' trickery did not end there. They allegedly sold the old man's two-room apartment in just two hours and transferred the money to themselves. What's worse, the pensioner ended up turning into a dropper. AZAMAT ABDRAKHIMOV, grandson of the victim: You are working on our new development, people are already calling from the National Security Committee, so they pretend to be different people. So they send a bag of money to our grandmother, containing 6 million tenge. She has the money exchanged for our grandmother, transferred to dollars and sent to accounts in Georgia. The police have opened a criminal case and are searching for the suspects. ZHANIBEK SHAGYROV, operational representative of the Cybercrime Countermeasures Department of the Aktobe Regional Police Department: My advice is that even if you tell them the code from 1414, the scammers will not be able to do anything to you. They send that code to intimidate you. After telling that code, you should be afraid of the second call. On that second call, they will call you from the National Security Committee and force you to go to the bank. KAMSHAT KOPAEVA, correspondent: The police said that law enforcement officers never call via WhatsApp. In general, the police do not hide the fact that it is difficult to find scammers outside the country. Therefore, residents should be extremely careful. Since the beginning of the year, 494 people in the region have been deceived by scammers. #Informbureau #31channel #MainNews #News #31channel
