Faulty Ubiquiti POE Network Switch | Can I Fix It?

A viewer called Dave asked if I could look at a faulty Ubiquiti POE switch. The device shows no signs of life when plugged in, and he also said it contained a mysterious white powder... Let's take it apart, and see if we can figure out the problem and hopefully repair it! I'm not an expert, but I do enjoy trying to fix things.
