8 Years Of P90X And Intermittent Fasting When I started Intermittent Fasting 8 years ago everyone said it wasn't a long-term solution to weight loss. Then, when I started following a Low Carb High Fat Ketogenic Diet almost 7 years ago, everyone said Keto was no long-term solution to long-term weight loss and was certainly not a sustainable lifestyle. Well, 8 Years Later and I'm still Intermittent Fasting, following a LCHF Diet, and working out with Tony Horton everyday...and, though I have gained weight over the years, I'd say the weight gain turned out being okay. From metabolic syndrome (being pre-diabetic, having chronic hypertension, and being obese) to being metabolically flexible and having an absolutely clean bill of health all while eating 65-70% of my total calories coming from fat seems like it ended up being my long-term approach to weight loss :).
