TRAVELING 92 KM ON FOOT TO TLACOTEPEC FROM ORIZABA On this adventure, we hiked from the city of Orizaba, Veracruz, to Tlacotepec de Benito Juárez in Puebla, a distance of 92 km. This was no easy challenge. We walked along highways, crossed mountains, and dirt roads, passing through towns until we reached Tlacotepec, where, upon arriving on a hill, it is customary to visit the Lord of Calvary, better known as the Black Christ. We ventured on this journey to walk what many pilgrims customarily do every year, on the first Sunday of July.
