Today we have the HAZET 1000NM Challenge and we throw in a Harbor Freight Pittsburgh Pro just for fun. This all started because box and marketing material for Hazet Tools made in Germany has load capacity test confirmed by both VPA Remscheid and HAZET-internal quality tests to have the 916 HP meet 1000Nm. This new tool was released in 2018 and is completely “Made in Germany” at HAZET, from development to production. With a load limit of 1,000 Nm, the reversible ratchet 916 HP is setting new standards in terms of power. With approx. 95%, the ratchet is thus considerably above the norm, which stipulates 512 Nm. The HiPer reversible ratchet has super-fine interlocking with 90 teeth, which enables a minimum opening angle of just 4° and is thus suitable for the tightest of work areas. The 916 HP thus offers more power at similar dimensions to standard 1/2“ ratchets. So let's find out if it can really meet and exceed the 1000Nm marketing and lab tested number.
