This is Eps 2 of a trip to Gifu in winter. i stayed at Iccha house some pronounce it as Issa. It was my first time staying with a Japanese family who cooks food and vegetables that are home grown. The host even prepares the bed while you eat . It was amazing. Iccha 一茶 is an accommodation in Gifu. Ogimachi is Shirakawa-go's largest village and main attraction, makes a good day trip from Takayama, or a stop on the bus journey between Takayama and Kanazawa.
