Our cruise through the Abacos continues as we leave West End and head for Mangrove Cay and Allen-Pensacola Cay. What starts as a peaceful day on the water quickly changes when an unexpected squall turns our quiet anchorage into an all-night anchor watch. Thankfully, our Mantus anchor and heavier chain held perfectly—but it definitely wasn't the relaxing evening we had planned! The next stop couldn't have been more different. Crystal-clear water, a beautiful anchorage, and a hike across Allen-Pensacola Cay reminded us exactly why we love cruising the Bahamas. Sometimes one stop is just a place to spend the night... and the next becomes a destination you'll never forget.
