Professor Vy Dong shares how she fell in love with Organic Chemistry and it's importance in our everyday life. After graduation from UC Irvine, Vy Maria Dong obtained her doctorate from Caltech, postdoctoral studies at Berkeley, and then began her independent career at the University of Toronto. She is now a full professor at UC Irvine where she teaches organic chemistry and leads a team of researchers focusing on inventing more efficient and sustainable methods for building molecular architecture. https://www.chem.uci.edu/~dongv/about...
