Irish Army vets who served in the Congo
Irish Army Congo Veterans hounered with certificates today @ Finner Army Barracks for their UN Services in the Congo from 1960 -1964. 26 of their comrades who were tragically killed in the Congo were also foundly remembered today (RIP). NEVER FORGOTTEN. Today was a proud day for the McBrearty family as Frank McBrearty Snr who served with the 36th Battalion in the Congo from 1961 - 1962 , was honoured with certificate for his service along with his comrades that served from 1960 - 1964
