Leila and Shahin raced through the dark streets, their hearts pounding with fear and adrenaline. The sound of their feet echoed off the buildings, bouncing back at them in a haunting rhythm. Shahin clutched Leila's hand tightly, his grip firm and reassuring. "We can't stop," he whispered urgently. "We have to keep moving." Leila nodded, her eyes wide with terror as they darted down alleyways and side streets, trying to lose themselves in the maze of the city. Behind them, they could hear the angry shouts of Mohammad, his voice booming through the night like a thunderclap. "He's getting closer," Leila gasped, her breath coming in short, ragged gasps. "We have to find somewhere to hide." Shahin's eyes scanned their surroundings, looking for any sign of shelter. Finally, he spotted a small abandoned building at the end of the alley, its windows boarded up and its door hanging off its hinges. Without a word, he tugged Leila towards it, their footsteps quickening as they drew closer. They slipped inside just as Mohammad's angry form stumbled into the alley, his eyes wild with rage. Leila and Shahin pressed themselves against the wall, holding their breath as they listened to his footsteps grow louder and louder. Just as he reached the entrance of the building, a crash sounded from further down the street, drawing his attention away. Leila and Shahin let out a sigh of relief as Mohammad's footsteps faded into the distance. They collapsed onto the ground, exhausted and trembling with fear. "We can't stay here," Leila whispered, her voice barely audible above the sound of their pounding hearts. Shahin nodded, his jaw set in determination. "We have to keep moving," he said, his eyes locking with hers in a silent promise. And with that, they rose to their feet and slipped back out into the night, running towards an uncertain future, but united in their determination to stay one step ahead of their pursuer.
