This pastry is cake - like and has a nice sweet pineapple jam filling in the middle of 2 layers of cakes. So if you like pineapple you'll definitely enjoy this recipe. COOKING WITH NICKI CHANNEL:    / @cookingwithnicki9413   Follow me on tik tok: @cookingwithlisa30 Follow me on Facebook: ‪@MissUniqueOffical‬ Ingredients for pineapple jam: 3 cans of pineapple (pureed) 2 cinnamon sticks Pinch of salt ½ cup of sugar (or according to your taste) Ingredients for dough: 4 cups A.P Flour (sifted) 1 cup sugar (Or according to your taste) 1 heaping tbsp custard powder 1 tbsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 1 tbsp vanilla essence 2 sticks unsalted cold butter 1 cup cold full fat milk (use more or less as needed) 📍Bake the pine slice in a preheated oven @180 degree celcius for 40 minutes or until fully baked or brown.
