Coe Inter Counties 800m 1980

Seb Coe running 1:45.41 in winning the Inter Counties Championship 800m on 26.5.1980, after winning his heat in 1:48.93 the previous day. Running solo from the front with laps of 52.9 and 52.5, and a last 200m of 26.3. 2nd was Rob Harrison and 3rd Colin Szwed. 10 days later Coe ran 1:44.98 on cinders at the Loughborough track, which was the fastest ever time on cinders at the time.
