NYCT M15 SBS via 10th Avenue Bus Ride - 2017 New Flyer XD60 6098 from South Ferry to East Harlem

Taken on 3/19/23. Footage of 2017 New Flyer XD60 6098 on the M15 SBS from South Ferry to East Harlem, via 10th Avenue and Bowery. Due to the New York City Half Marathon, there were many detours through Manhattan, due to closed streets. In Midtown, all north-south routes operating between 34th and 81st Streets (except the M12) were rerouted via the West Side of Manhattan. There was no north-south bus service from 1st Avenue until 9th Avenue/Columbus Avenue, which was chaotic for many Manhattan routes through Midtown. As a result of the event, almost every bus in Manhattan was operating down 9th/10th Avenue at some point during their trip. Additionally, there were some closures in the area of the Manhattan Bridge and Canal Street. Buses were detoured via Bowery and Essex Streets on the M9, M15, and M22 routes.
