  / zip-zieller   Zip Zieller, working class indie Rock n Roll/Blues band fronted by Along(vocal & 1st guitar) , Ayoy(2nd guitar), Sharul (Along's younger brother) and Haikal was formed on 31st August 2002. In early days, they were inspired by Seattle bands likes Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, Green River. As time moved on, Zip Zieller revolutionized their music into Rock & Roll. Jimi Hendrix,Jim Morrison, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ACDC ,Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are among their favorites and inspiration. These are the individuals & bands that influenced them in terms of songwriting as well as fashion and the attitude. Starting to play at Tunestone Klang and local indie gigs in 2002, they become more actives and travel all around the nation. They've recorded few live shows and started writing their own materials. In 2006, Zip Zieller won the first place in ROTTW Soundstage Competition.Since then, the band actively gained more fan base mostly from young generation through gigs and local independent showcases all over Malaysia. They have released 2 demos "Soul Story" consist of self recorded songs and "Malom Surado" consist of 2 songs, which were sold at their performances and independent gigs. They have been invited to various local gigs and show all around Peninsular Malaysia such as Konsert Di Awan Biru Searh,Radio Rosak concert and Rock The World 8. In 2009, some lineup changes occurred. Sharul and Haikal left the band due to family commitment. Along and Ayoy recruited Tapa (drummer) to fill the position. Along also been busy with his psychedelic rock project band, Zieller & Classic Ikan Keli down-south in Johor Bharu. Hibri(keyboardist) and Kunt(percussionist) from Along's project band joined the line up before Menyut completed the band on bass position. Now, 2011 Zip Zieller are back Rockin' all over Malaysia and in the same time busy on progress to release their new album. Zip Zieller will never look back and progress positively in their music career.
