The Brooklyn Nets: A Lolcow in Three Acts
Lolcow (n) - A person or group of people laughed at for actions that they take, despite not trying to be funny. They may try to take themselves seriously, but they are often "milked" for laughs with or without their knowledge. The Nets are one of the most hopeless organizations in all of basketball today. Currently boasting one of the worst records in the NBA this year and a total lack of current talent and future prospects, the Nets have next to no hope of getting themselves out of this predicament in the short term future. The only way to truly understand why the Nets are in this situation is to trace these missteps back to the beginning. In this case, back to the early part of this decade, when the Nets were also in the league's gutter. Witness the great Bell curve that is the Mikhail Prokhorov-owned Nets. NOTE: I tried a different approach with this video. I shot for more of a "cinematic narrative" style that is probably ridiculously over-the-top. Feel the tragedy and the triumph! Hope you enjoy, though. #freebrooklopez
