The song "You Are a Man" is performed by Elena Shuenkova, a chorister of the Children's Choir of the USSR Bolshoi Theater. The musical children's comedy film "The Adventures of Elektronic" was filmed at the Odessa Film Studio in 1979 and directed by Konstantin Bromberg. The music was composed by Yevgeny Krylatov, with lyrics by Yuri Entin. Starring: Yuri Torsuyev, Vladimir Torsuyev, Vasily Skromny, Oksana Alekseyeva, Maxim Kalinin, Dima Maksimov, Zhenya Livshits, Lera Soluyan, Vladimir Basov, Nikolay Karachentsov, Nikolay Grinko, Elizaveta Nikishchikhina, Yevgeny Vesnik, Maya Bulgakova, Lev Perfilov, and Roza Makagonova. After the film's initial airings on central television, the closing song, "You Are a Man," was cut. As a result, the third episode, unlike the first two, ended without end credits, as the song served as their background. In this version, after Elektronik and Rassi walk to school and a crowd gathers around them, the final scene with Chizhikov immediately follows ("What, you don't know? The holidays have begun! Hey, uncle!"), which in the original version occurs after the credits. The song was only reintroduced to the film during perestroika, in January 1988, although not in its entirety: during the chorus after the third verse, the music and credits cut off. Most notably, the credits cut off also appears in the first two episodes, in the same place. Currently, only the version with the credits cut off for all three episodes is being released on DVD, although a version without the cut off was shown on television in the late 1990s. The credits were cut short because the name of the Goskino Orchestra conductor, David Shtilman, was omitted. His son, violinist Artur Shtilman, emigrated from the USSR to the United States in 1979.
