Corsica, Corte: Nest of piglets on the roadside! S2-Ep16

In Bichisano, we wanted to have dinner early in the evening so that, after a good night's rest, we could extensively explore the inland mountain region of Corsica by motorcycle the next day. However, this turned out to be quite a climb uphill far outside the town. A steep climb on foot. Fortunately, Bar des Chasseurs was open, so we could get a bite to eat. The next day, the motorcycle trip took us along the east coast and through rugged mountainous areas, among other places. At certain altitudes, you encounter few people, and wild animals can simply be found on the road. A wild sow with her litter of piglets, right by the side of the road. A cow in the wooded area standing on a hairpin bend... Corte is the historical capital of Corsica and actually a small, pleasant town with a citadel on top of the mountain. You can get a good view of the surroundings from there. All in all, a long day of motorcycling with a beautiful impression of this magnificent island. Along the way, we saw the temperature reach 38 degrees. Keep riding is the motto then!
