This session introduces the Strimzi Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, an open source tool designed to make that expertise more accessible through LLM-powered workflows. David Kornel and Jakub Stejskal explain how the Strimzi MCP server connects AI agents to Kubernetes clusters through a read-only interface, allowing users to ask natural language questions while safely retrieving structured data, logs, and metrics. Attendees will learn how the MCP server supports diagnostics, prompt templates, incident response, local or in-cluster deployment, and future improvements such as Kubernetes impersonation, Kafka Admin API integration, and expanded community contributions.
