Density: Neglected but Essential

This MEGWA talk by Andrew Scorings, Grant Luow and Bill Shaw of CSA Mining Industry Consultants highlights the importance of understanding density when compiling resource estimates. Resources are a function of both grade and tonnes. Most workers pay careful attention to the quality of grade measurements, but nowhere near the same degree of scrutiny is applied to density estimates in many instances.
