Conga lesson. Skills every musician should develop; how to practice part one
In this episode I go over some of my philosophy on practicing and developing skill on the congas. The ideas in this video are not limited to the congas. They may translate to a multitude of industries and facets of life. As I state in the video, there is no one right way to practice and overall many of these ideas are subjective. My intent is to use this video as a template for your own advancement. Credit goes to Bart Elliot and his article on practice which can be found at https://www.drummercafe.com/education... Another great resource is the book The Art of Practice by Madeline Bruser. Developing the art of constructing and deconstructing or analyzing rhythms, patterns, and learning them is a valuable skill. Thank you for watching and please do not forget to like and subscribe. God bless you!
