Roy Suryo and Tifauziah Tyasuma, also known as Doctor Tifa, were reportedly offered a peaceful settlement or Restorative Justice (RJ) in the case of the alleged forged diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. As reported by Tribunnews, however, both reportedly rejected the offer. Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa's attorney, Ahmad Ghafur Sangadji, stated that the offer was made by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) during the second phase of the case examination at the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office on Monday (June 22nd, 2026). He explained that in addition to restorative justice, the prosecutor also offered plea bargaining to his two clients in the ongoing case. "There was a question from the Public Prosecutor regarding the offer of restorative justice or reconciliation with the complainant, Mr. Joko Widodo. There was also an offer of plea bargaining, or an admission of guilt, from the two suspects," said Ahmad Ghafur Sangadji. However, the attorney emphasized that Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa rejected all offers. He stated that neither was willing to reconcile or admit guilt in the case. Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa reportedly claimed they had never committed the alleged offenses.
