SKREAMBIKES|THE ROOT TO TOKYO|FIXED GEAR
The Root to Tokyo – A Fixed Gear Journey The Root to Tokyo is a documentary that follows the incredible journey of Mathias and Rob, two passionate creators deeply rooted in the fixed gear scene. After years of producing content and working closely with Skreambikes and Bike Thomson, they embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Tokyo. Their mission? To produce a commercial for their new signature frameset, while reconnecting with the team, old friends, and new faces along the way. This film captures the entire process—the challenges, the triumphs, and the moments that made the journey truly special. With the invaluable support of the Slow Spin Society, they achieved more than they ever imagined and had an amazing time doing it. We hope you enjoy the ride and get a glimpse into everything we experienced. A huge thanks to everyone involved—this was a life-changing trip that we will never forget. Enjoy the journey.
