"... Over the Rainbow" Katrina Velarde… I Tried TWO Versions of This Song

Before anyone comes for me… Katrina Velarde is INCREDIBLY talented. One of the best vocalists I’ve heard from the Philippines, period. But for some reason, neither version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” really connected with me personally, even after checking out two completely different performances. This reaction ended up being less about technical ability and more about how arrangement, emotion, and song choice can completely change how a performance lands for someone. Still massively respect Katrina and her voice. This one just wasn’t for me. Honest reactions only on this channel.
