SwiftUI & Metal: Particles Strand & Background Pentagons

This app renders a real-time, fully animated particle background entirely on the GPU. At its heart is a luminous golden braid — tens of thousands of tiny filament particles flowing through an invisible curl-noise field that weaves them into smoke-like, DNA-strand ribbons. Floating around it is a second layer of "bokeh" particles in green, teal, gold, and red: some rendered as crisp pentagons, others as soft out-of-focus glows, with the nearer ones larger and blurrier to create a genuine sense of depth. The motion is what makes it feel alive. Particles drift along gently curving paths, the larger orbs trail dotted tails behind them, everything "breathes" and twinkles, and the entire field slowly rotates. When you tilt the phone (or move the mouse), the cloud orbits around its center in true 3D perspective — near particles swing wide while far ones barely move. A bloom and tone-mapping pass adds the soft cinematic glow.
