Virginia N. Ciriano-Tejel: Spin qubits in quantum dots | PYSQT
Seminar by Virginia N. Ciriano-Tejel, organized by the PYSQT (PhDs and Young Scientists Quantum Technologies) network on the 28-02-2023. Spin qubits in quantum dots - Silicon has become one of the leading platforms for quantum computation, having demonstrated qubits with long coherence times and high fidelity operations. Moreover, the similarities between silicon quantum dots and transistors give hope for mass production of qubits easily integrable with control electronics. This seminar will go over the how spin qubits work, the major breakthroughs of the field and its current challenges.
