Two Timing an Ex

The plaintiff brings her ex-boyfriend to court. She says she helped pay the defendant’s parking tickets and some jewelry for his mother. It turns out she paid for an engagement ring that he gave to another woman, so she’s suing for the cost of the ring and parking tickets. The defendant argues the plaintiff bought things for him all the time when they were together, but now she’s just being petty because they broke up. He’s countersuing for lost wages.
