We Went to 100 Dumpsters in One Day!

Shop our finds in this video ~ www.breafkast.myshopify.com Alex and I were sitting outside drinking our morning tea and thought, why not try to dumpster dive in ONE HUNDRED dumpsters today. We started late but managed to hit 100 before the sun set! We found so much stuff from dumpsters in apartment complexes, at retail shops, and behind the mall. My favorites are definitely from the mall – the comforter looks great on our bed and I am so excited to re-home all the Torrid clothes and shoes – what a waste that they were thrown away! Checking so many dumpsters in a day really reminds me of the magnitude of waste that we produce. It is so sad to see so many perfectly good items and clothes in the trash, when they could have easily been donated or sold. I make my living from recording my dives and selling what I find online and at garage sales. It's wild the amount of usable items I can find from looking through other people's trash, so I created this channel to try and encourage others to donate or sell their unwanted items instead of trashing them.
