What is the science of letters? You may have heard that in the magic, the words and letters are so important and for example, a wizard could perform certain magical acts by knowing someone’s name. Also In some religions like Islam, reciting religious practices in a specific language is recommended. In religions, saying and repeating certain words and names of God—such as dhikr in Islam—is considered a religious practice. In traditional beliefs, it was common to inscribe certain letters and words on clothing, weapons like swords and helmets, etc., for protection and increasing the power. When you look at books and writings related to magic and mysticism, you’ll notice an extensive use of words and letters and you will see a lot of seperate letters. It's so important that there are some historical references that show some people had the power to predict by doing some special works with the letters, like Ibn Arabi, he could do a prediction by interpreting some verses from Quran about the year of the recapture of Jeruslame by Saladin. So after all, do the letters have any special power? Do they have any inner and real meaning which we can understand and interpret them?
