Village Life: Preparing the Hay Harvest & Open-Fire Grilling in the Meadow

Welcome to my very first video! You probably already know my beautiful wife from Life of Julia, but today I am incredibly excited to finally welcome you to my own channel, Life of Miroslav. Here, I’ll be sharing my real daily life, traditional country skills, and authentic outdoor cooking straight from the village. Today is all about the big summer hay harvest. I’m out in the meadow with my trusty scythe, mowing the grass the old-school way and setting up the haystack poles. To keep my energy up, I built a Finnish log torch right out in the field to brew some fresh wild herbal tea, and fired up the coals to grill some amazing minced meat flatbread rolls. The absolute best part of the day was when Julia came out to join me in the field, bringing some extra food and feeding me right there on the grass after a long day of hard labor. There is truly nothing like sharing a hot meal under the open sky. This is just the beginning of our journey together on this channel.
