Nueva Ciudad de la Salud de la Comunidad de Madrid

The new Health City of the Community of Madrid will house the future facilities of the La Paz University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Madrid, becoming the most modern and innovative biomedical campus in Europe. This initiative represents an investment of €1 billion and will offer more than 550,000 square meters of space, doubling the current area and becoming the largest infrastructure of its kind in Europe. Construction will be carried out in three phases and is scheduled for completion in 2032. Of the total 550,000 square meters, 300,000 will be dedicated to clinical activities, 200,000 to auxiliary facilities such as pavilions, auditoriums, and the industrial building, and 42,000 will belong to the Faculty.
