A classic Finnish comedy song by Juha Vainio satirizing the legendary "vodka tourists" who crossed into the Soviet Union during the Cold War. There was a unique period in Finnish-Soviet relations when organized package tours across the Eastern border were common. While ordinary tourists were expected to admire Soviet culture, ideology and architecture, there was plenty of informal "vodka tourists".
