Negra Consentida (Barbarita, Les Couleurs de l'Amour - Gifler, Combat, Bagarre) is a Venezuelan telenovela produced and broadcast by RCTV between 2004 and 2005. It was an original story by Valentina Párraga and written by Henry Herrera. It starred Ligia Petit and Pedro Rendón, with supporting roles by Caridad Canelón, Chantal Baudaux, and Pastor Oviedo, and antagonistic performances by Eileen Abad and Miriam Ochoa. Synopsis: Barbarita is a young woman of mixed race from Venezuela who embodies all the characteristics of the typical woman of her country: the impetuousness of beauty, the blend of colors, overflowing passion, and the strength of the drum. The young woman is unaware of the true origin of the perfect combination she carries in her blood; She knows she is the daughter of a Black woman from Barlovento, a small coastal town in Venezuela, but she is unaware that her father is a white Portuguese man. Living a life of hardship, Barbarita is forced to flee her hometown, accused of a crime she didn't commit. To save herself, she poses as a woman from Bogotá who took great secrets to her grave. Thus, Barbarita meets the Aristiguieta family, a clan steeped in intrigue, offended by Barbarita's presence and the color of her cinnamon skin. On this journey imposed by fate, Barbarita crosses paths with Miguel, a successful businessman who lives for his work and whose greatest ambition is to dominate the supermarket industry; to achieve this, he plans to merge with the "Colosal-Funchal" supermarket chain. Although Miguel has tried to ignore his emotional life, he cannot help but be drawn to Barbarita's charms, a woman whose passion is like a hurricane, captivating him and teaching him to live without constraints. The problems arise when the husband of the supposed Bogota native returns and discovers the elaborate lie. Furthermore, Barbarita becomes the target of jealousy, envy, and resentment stemming from the unexpected inheritance she receives from the Nascimento family, her true relatives. Thus unfolds a great love story, set between two worlds of different colors and flavors, intertwined in a rich aroma of café au lait.
