Hyatt Award Changes for 2026- Book These Hyatt’s NOW! #travelhacking #hyatt

LEEN’S REFERRAL LINK: https://linktr.ee/leenontravel Book your trips now! Each year Hyatt will increase the category for some hotels, and decrease for a handful others. This year, Hyatt is doing something a bit different. In an effort to eliminate annual category changes, they have decided to expand the award chart to five redemption levels within their 8 categories: Lowest, Low, Moderate, Upper and Top. We currently just have 3: Standard, Peak, and Off-Peak. In my opinion, this is just a double-edged sword- both good and bad. It’s good because they're trying to eliminate annual category changes, and thus far, there’s very few that actually changed categories. It’s helpful that we already have an existing points calendar for every hotel, to know when we can expect to pay the Upper tier, or peak points for now. But if it’s the holiday season, or there’s an event or concert in town- good luck paying in points. That’s when Top pricing will be enacted. These changes go into effect sometime in May, but sometime in April we will be able to see these actual changes on a hotel’s points calendar. So with that said, let’s review each category and how many points it will be increasing by.
