The royal, 18, stuck with what she knew and took style inspiration from her mother, Queen Letizia - who often sports eye-catching, vibrant ensembles. The heir to the Spanish throne donned a ruby outfit consisting of a crisp button-up blazer and matching flared trousers Not wanting to draw attention away from her bold fashion statement, Leonor stepped out in satin nude heels and wore a simple white t-shirt underneath her jacket. Leonor wore her glossy brunette tresses down in a sophisticated straightened blow-dry and chose to wear full-glam makeup. She stood among staff as she attended the official farewell ceremony at Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport. Minister Jose Manuel Albares, the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayuso and the Mayor of Madrid, Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida, all bid farewell to the Princess. The future Queen looked in high spirits for her first official trip away by herself as she was snapped getting into the private jet with a huge smile on her face. Spain's heir to the throne, Princess Leonor, met with Portugal's president in Lisbon on Friday as part of her first official international trip without her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia. At the conclusion of her visit to the Jerónimos Monastery of Santa Maria de Belém, Her Royal Highness the Princess of Asturias, accompanied by a cavalry squadron, traveled to the Palácio de Belém, where she was received by His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. Accompanied by President Rebelo, they attended the performance of the National Anthems. Princess Leonor received updates from the commander of the honor guard and reviewed a Battalion alongside the aide-de-camp of His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic, the aide-de-camp of His Majesty the King, and the commander of the Battalion. This comes as the next step in the plan for to prepare the teenage Princess for becoming Spain's monarch. Spain's Princess of Asturias, turned 18 on October 31 when she swore allegiance to the country's constitution before lawmakers in parliament.
