It's Hibernation time! In today's video, I'll show you how to Take Your Thread Painting To The Next Level as we draw and stitch a realistic hedgehog. This is Part 1 of our November Stitch Along. If realism is your goal, improving your sketching will improve your stitching. I am not an expert, but if you are not a confident sketcher, there are some simple tips here to help you. If you want to skip the drawing section, use the chapters below to get to the stitch section. We won't complete our hedgehog today - just its face. I will show you easy steps to improve your thread painting and translate sketch into stitch. In November we are taking inspiration from hibernating creatures as the nights draw in and the weather gets cooler. It's a time to get cosy, and what better way to spend a November evening, than with some improvised embroidery.
