Diving For Bait to Catch Our Dinner || More Than Just The Meat

Continuing his South Island journey, Ants has made his way to Kaikōura, known as one of the most bountiful stretches of ocean in the southern hemisphere, where he joins Bryn from Hunting & Fishing to get the gills wet & search for elusive bait for an evening surf casting adventure. With the rig rigged to catch a rig, all eyes are on the Okuma rod tips as they anxiously wait for one of these tasty toothless sharks to swim along and vacuum up their crayfish and crab baits. The lads are treated to absolutely perfect conditions and enjoy cooking up their harvest over the fire while watching the sun set over the mountains beyond, and even sneak in a little blue moki before it's time to call it for the day.
