My tiny house journey started in May 2015 and will be finished by June 2016. The reason for making my tiny house was a conscious choice to become more aware of what I consume and what I need to live a healthy and happy life. This house signifies much more than just a transition to a simpler way of living it signifies a new beginning, my future life. My veganism story is intertwined with my tiny house. I grew up vegetarian, so I had a conscious upbringing relating to food and my health. In May of 2016, it will be 2 years since I went vegan. It was a two month transition but after a marathon of documentaries, I was convinced. In that same month that I went vegan, I officially decided to build a tiny house.
